Frontline Medic is one of the newest "Magic: The Gathering" cards spoiled today from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming expert expansion set "Gatecrash."

Revealed today in an article by "Frank" on KVDeckmasters.org, Frontline Medic is a powerful creature that will single-handedly have an impact on the Standard metagame.
Frontline Medic is a fantastic card for Boros and Human decks abusing Champion of the Parish to play. Not only does it ensure your weenie creatures like Boros Elite or the creature tokens produced by Gather the Townsfolk survive to attack next turn, it can stop a Bonfire of the Damned cold in its tracks.
Frontline Medic will also keep an opponent from winning when they cast their powerful X spells like Sphinx's Revelation and Rakdos's Return. While it might not actually stop them from playing the spell, by forcing them to pay an addition three mana it will keep these mythic rares from completely dominating the game.
One idea might be to include Frontline Medic in Naya decks with Cavern of Souls. You'll be able to attack with your Huntmaster of the Fells and creature tokens without worrying about them dying. With all your creatures indestructible, Pit Fight and Ulvenwald Tracker can take out any opposing threats. Should your opponent manage to wipe the battlefield clean with a Supreme Verdict or Mutilate, an Angel of Glory's Rise will bring everyone back.
