Front Range CC career fair offers advice, workshops for job seekers

On Wednesday, April 6, 2011, Front Range Community College will be hosting their second annual Career Day Conference at their campus at 3645 West 112th Avenue, Westminster, CO.  The event starts at 2:30 pm and will run until 5:30 pm.

More than just a chance to check out different careers, the Conference will focus on many important aspects of job searching.  The day starts with a panel of experts who will take audience questions about job searching and career options.  Experts include representatives from Jobing.com, Regis University,  Johnson & Wales and the non-profit sector as well as local career coaches and job search advisors. 

The afternoon includes two workshop sessions, addressing the opportunities in the following fields:

Human Resources/Management

Accounting/Finance

Marketing

Advertisement

Hospitality/Culinary

Legal/Criminal Justice

Computer Information Systems

Both workshop sessions will have resume writing/mock interviews booths to help people with their specific questions.

The day ends with refreshments and open networking from 5 to 5:30 pm.

The Career Day Conference will be held in the B (lower level) of the campus, on the East side of the building.
