In an aggressive and violent outburst at the Citadel Saturday night, Occupy Protesters hurled glitter at former Senator Rick Santorum after a third place finish in the South Carolina Primary. Regardless of opinion concerning the Occupy Movement's philosophy and right to disrupt events, there is no denying that these repeated glitter bombings are an attack on the physical person of the candidate and should not be tolerated.
The Occupy Movement is particularly hostile to Sen. Santorum because of his stance on the sanctity of marriage, although he espouses respect and consideration for all relationships. The overt attacks on Sen. Santorum are direct persecution for his religious faith; he is a devout Catholic.

The Occupy Movement will not gain the support or even vague toleration of mainstream America using illegal tactics like this.
