After a coastal low bombed out off of the New England coastline we'll have tranquil weather until the weekend
NOAA

Overnight lows will be around 20 with a clear sky and a northwest wind still blowing between 10-15mph; this will lead to a cool Thursday with highs around the middle 40s with a shifting wind from the west to the southwest by the late afternoon. With a southerly wind overnight lows will be close to 40 and then we'll reach the lower 60s come Friday.

There will be clouds increasing in the afternoon ahead of a cold front that will provide plain old rain as overnight lows will be around 50 and highs on both weekend days will be around 60. As for rainfall amounts it will over an inch in most areas, but will fall periodically through the weekend.
