From the Max Brooks novel 'World War Z' hits theaters this summer (trailer)

Director Marc Forster is behind the scenes of “World War Z.” The Max Brooks’ post-apocalyptic novel opens up the story to the big screen in the summer of 2013.

World War Z” brings zombie films to a new level. Brad Pitt is a journalist who covers the disaster, after he and his family are devastated to see their city under attack. It’s going to be an action-packed zombie fantasy film that will have viewers sitting at the edge of their seats.

There are plenty of explosions, wreckage and devastation for graphic fans. It’s difficult to say whether or not the best parts of “World War Z” are seen in the trailer but it wouldn’t be a complete shock if some of the best have been left out.

“World War Z” will be in theaters on June 21, 2013, in the wide-screen format. It is released by Paramount Pictures and is under the direction of Marc Forster.

I have been a film critic for years. As a writer, I love to experience the writer's art as it comes alive on the screen.
