Mother Nature is trying to remind us today that it is still winter! Highs are struggling to make it above freezing this afternoon and it is the middle of March with full sunshine! The good news is that winds will turn around to the south tonight now allowing the temperature to drop much below the upper 20s. In fact, it will slowly warm up into the lower 30s by early Friday morning.
The thermometer will continue to rise rapidly on your Friday. Expect partly sunny skies and highs heading for the upper 50s! It will be another great early spring day. A weak cool front will pass through Ohio Friday evening which may spark a few isolated showers after 8 p.m.
Highs on Saturday will be in the lower 50s under partly cloudy skies. As we go into Sunday, a storm system may begin to brew to our south. Computer models are still in disagreement over the track of this system. It is possible that it may throw some light snow in our direction late Sunday afternoon and evening. Right now significant accumulations look unlikely regardless of the track of the low. However you will want to stay with examiner.com for the latest updates.
Looking ahead, the ups and downs in temperature will continue. Winter still has some cold and chances for snow left as we head through the rest of March and perhaps even the very beginning of April.
