The museum's spacial summer programs include:
Baby and Me Time
Mondays, 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Parents of newborns can network while asking a nurse from Advocate Lutheran General Hospital questions about infant care at no cost.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This series take place in Habitat Park where children can learn about seeds, weeds, worms, fruits and vegetables, plus pollination.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Bird Homes, Stroll with your Senses, Wind Power, Bird Behavior Hike and What’s Under a Log? are among the explorations kids will have in Habitat Park.
Fitness for All
Monday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Select Fridays, 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
With the help of Northwestern Medicine Frozen, this entertaining and educational program includes Fizzy, Fun and Ice Cream Science experiments.

Parents and children tap into their creativity with Tools We Use (July 14-27), Light Catchers (July 28-August 10) and Shadow Makers (August 11- 20).
