Troy Landry from "Swamp People" is very excited for the new season, and he posted about it on his Troy Landry Facebook Page, Tuesday, Feb. 12. He reminded everyone about the new episode coming up on Thursday, Feb. 14, and he mentioned that he heard that there may be 22 episodes this season.
“Swamp People” is in Season 4 on the History Channel, and it continues to gain in popularity. The lineup, always a little different each season, will be especially different this season. One noticeable change is the absence of Trapper Joe LaFont and his step-son Tommy; they were featured prominently in the first three seasons. Their absence may be due to Joe LaFont’s arrest on charges of Domestic Abuse during the summer of 2012.
One upcoming plot that promises to be interesting is the storyline with Junior and Willie Edwards. Rumors are circulating that Junior shoots his son by accident, yet again! Viewers will recall when Junior told his wife that Willie should not have gotten in front of his bullet.
