Several officers from the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA) Region 4 recently met Phil Robertson from “Duck Dynasty” at the 3rd annual Sportsman Night Out (Wild Game Supper) sponsored by Mt. Zion United Methodist Church of Afton, Tenn. The TWRA posted a photo on the TWRA Facebook page on March 21 from the event.
The event that featured the Duck Commander, as Robertson is called after the duck call he invented, was held at Hal Henard Elementary School on March 9. Over 3300 people attended; the event was sold out last December.
The TWRA officers were the brunt of a few good-natured jokes by the avid outdoorsman, Phil Robertson. At this dinner, he jokingly expressed that he looked forward to heaven where he could hunt and fish all he wanted because there would be no game wardens, or “GW” as he calls them on “Duck Dynasty.”
If you would like to view Phil Robertson’s presentation at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church Sportsman Night Out, the church has placed it on their website here. It is divided into three parts.
