Nicole Polizzi, also known as Snooki, has become famed for her honesty. And she stays true to herself in a new book that covers every aspect of becoming a mother, from the shock of booze-scented breast milk to how she restored her body after baby, reported the Stir on Dec. 16.
In addition, Snooki visited Bethenny Frankel's talk show on Dec. 17 to get real about her past and unveil her dreams for the future. Get all the dish here.
Bethenny asked Snooki if she regrets anything from her past. No, said Snooki, looking sleek and demure in a red dress. However, she does admit in her book that she was shocked to realize the impact of her partying when she was nursing.
"I could smell the sake bombs in the (baby) bottle," Snooki confesses in her new book "Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama, and all the Messy Milestones Along the Way" (click for details).
“My milk was so full of alcohol, I could have used it to start a bonfire in the yard. I could have cleaned the toilet with it," Snooki recalls.
That party pooper reality marked a turnaround for her. Now, she told Bethenny, she views those partying years as "college" and feels that she grew up and became an adult when she realized the full responsibilities of having a baby.
In addition, Snooki and Bethenny talked about her experience on "Dancing with the Stars." The extra exercise from dancing along with her strict diet helped her slim down even more.
As for her weight loss specifics, Snooki recently told Us Weekly that she ate about 1,300 calories per day and worked out with a personal trainer.
Not discussed: Snooki's shilling for a diet pill, Zantrex. The reality show star currently is being sued by a Long Island woman who feels that Snooki's claims are a lie, reported the New York Daily News on Dec. 17.
The lawsuit claims that Zantrex consists primarily of caffeine. As a result, the pills are dangerous for anyone with heart conditions.
Although Snooki stopped taking it when she was breastfeeding, the lawsuit contends that she remains the guru of weight loss and represents the brand.
"Snooki holds herself out as an expert in fitness," the complaint states. "In this regard, she has amassed many fans and followers who specifically follow and listen to her advice on weight loss and fitness."
