From B.O. to B.O., O'Reilly's Obama interview stank as badly as his conclusions

What purpose did O'Reilly's Super Bowl interview of President Obama serve? Bill asked the most vital questions to which all patriotic Americans want the answers and Obama not only ducked them all, but blamed the fact that he is being questioned about any of them on FOX News. The result was condemnation from the Left for daring to cast aspersions on their messiah, and condemnation from the Right for failing to accomplish anything.

O'Reilly made his own observations based on his personal impression of Obama's demeanor which is always friendly and non-confrontational, a trait he says he learned in his college years to put people at ease when dealing with a black man. Bill said he thought the president's heart was in the right place, but that he didn't realize the severity of the scandals in his administration or the true extent of the damage his policies are doing to the folks. O'Reilly went on to add that the "extreme Right," meaning the TEA Party, is wrong to believe Obama is acting with malice.

Therein lays the flaw in O'Reilly's presumption of innocence on the part of Obama and assumption of malice on the part of the TEA Party. Obama petty nature, from referring to Christian conservatives as “teabaggers” to announcing he was looking for “whose ass to kick” over the BP oil spill, is revealed in the way he talks when he’s not on a teleprompter as well as the kind of people with which he surrounds himself. Where Ronald Reagan appointed Captains of Industry to his cabinet, Obama empowers radical leftists whose only agenda is fundamentally transforming the nation into their vision of a socialist utopia.

Whilst liberals use mockery to debunk Obama’s malicious abuses of power, such as stealing from TEA Party groups through the IRS, the depth of his malevolence is measured by making new rules in the IRS to legalize this abuse. Obama says he has a pen and a phone and can make whatever law he wants despite Congress. Congressional leaders like Trey Goudy (R-S.C.) demand answers from Obama that he told O’Reilly he has already answered. If that were so, Goudy responds, then why doesn’t anyone know the answers he gave?

O’Reilly’s failure is not due to his own blindness, but the blindness of his audience. His show, “The Factor,” is the most watched news program on television and he doesn’t want to lose the portion of his audience that relies on him for information but sticks their heads in the sand about any criticism of Obama. Republican’s and the conservative media’s fear of Obama is all based on his playing the racism card.

The only solution to this is to be willing to say what is true rather than what is most popular. A commentator must be willing to accept that explaining that Obama is a dedicated liberal who will lie about everything to everyone will result in many of his audience who are not only ignorant, but downright stupid and immoral will turn him off and take the loss of their participation, which they are not willing to do. This is why America is failing so badly that sixty-five million people re-elected failure.
