At the First United Methodist Church of Frisco, church staff is hosting The Ultimate Day Camp Experience--Winshape C3. Monday-Thursday, the camp will run from 7:45 a.m.-5:00 p.m., while on Friday, times will be 7:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Cost is $179 per child. For more info or to register, visit www.winshapecamps.org.
Fellowship of Frisco and Kidz World will be presenting two camp experiences this summer. Messy Mania takes place June 21-25. This camp focuses on "art, science, and messy fun," according to Ashlyn Nelson, director of children's ministries. She says, "The Bible tells us that God made each one of us different and special. He made each of us with special talents and abilities. We will have fun creating and learning why God created each one of us."
On July 12-16, the second camp, Going Buggy occurs. Nelson explains, "Every bug God created has a purpose . . . . and every person in this world has a purpose and is important. We will study the different jobs of bugs and discover the important job(s) we can do in our lives."
Both of these camps are held from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on their respective dates. Tuition is $150 per week. Call or e-mail Ashlyn Nelson for more info: firstname.lastname@example.org or 972-523-1588.
