Fright Night Flashbacks brings Denver classic horror on the big screen

Great news for horror fans in the Denver metro area.  Mile High Nightmare will be presenting Fright Night Flashbacks beginning on Wednesday, February 8th at The Oriental Theater.

Fright Night Flashbacks will be offering horror fans a chance to see classic horror on the big screen.  For the kickoff event, George A. Romero’s Dawn of the Dead will be screened.

Dawn of the Dead (1978) is classic horror at its best.  The film was written and directed by George A, Romero.  The movie took four months to shoot and was filmed primarily at the Monroeville Mall in Monroeville, Pennsylvania. It premiered in New York City on April 20, 1979, and then in Los Angeles on May 11, 1979.

Tickets are only $5 at the door.  The doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will start at 9 p.m.  Be sure to come out early for special zombie drinks, raffle prizes, and many more surprises in store.
