David Arthur Vineyards celebrated 25 years with a gala benefiting the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s Team Fox. The winery sits high on Pritchard Hill, a pseudo appellation who's acclaimed inhabitants are known well in the wine world. Heather Locklear friend to Michael J. Fox and the winery’s Owner David Long made the trek to the top of the hill to take part in the festivities. The night included celebrity cuisine from Iron Chef Winner and former San Francisco Chef, Viet Pham.
To symbolize the past, present and future successes of David Arthur Vineyards the theme of the gala was “Back to the Future”, one of Michael J. Fox’s most memorable movies. Inside the party a DeLorean modeled after the same one used in the film was on display, doors up and flux capacitor included. Former NBA star Drew Gooden was just one of the guests spotted posing with the car on the red carpet.
Long was diagnosed with the pre-genealogical cell which develops Parkinson’s Disease. His dedication to help the Michael J. Fox Foundation find a cure for the condition went beyond the 25th Anniversary Gala. An additional portion of the proceeds from David Arthur Vineyards' 2011 Nebbiolo Wine will also help their shared goal.
