David Schwimmer has gotten engaged. According to EW.com, Schwimmer's rep confirmed that news that he and his photog girlfriend, Zoe Buckman, are to be married.
Schwimmer, best known for playing Ross Gellar on Friends for a decade, has been dating Buckman for almost three years. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and is a co-founder of Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre Company.
Since his days on Friends ended in 2004, Schwimmer has kept busy with a variety of other projects. He was in both of the popular animated Madagascar films playing the giraffe, Melman, opposite Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and Jada Pinkett Smith. He also made his feature film directing debut with Run Fatboy Run, starring British actor Simon Pegg.
