The Friends of Hunterdon County Library are looking for donations and volunteers for their 17th Annual Book Sale. The book sale will be on Saturday and Sunday, April 20 & 21, with a special preview sale on Friday, April 19.
Book donations will be accepted from March 16 to March 30. Books can be dropped off at the National Guard Armory in Flemington. The gates will open for book drop-offs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
They are looking for hardbacks, paperbacks, children’s books, CDs, LPs, DVDs, books on tape or CD and computer games. Please do not donate videos, music cassettes, former library books, badly worn items, encyclopedias, outdated computer & business books, Reader’s Digest condensed books, textbooks, catalogs and magazines.
Prices range for the books will be $.50 for paperbacks and $2 for hardbacks and large paperbacks. However, some items will be individually priced.
The exclusive preview sale on April 19 will be from 1-4 p.m. Seats are limited and only current members of FOHCL are eligible to buy a ticket . Tickets are $60. The book sale will be open to the public Saturday and Sunday, April 20 & 21 at the National Guard Armory, 422 State Highway 12, Flemington. Early Bird admission is from 8-10 a.m. and is free to FOHCL members and $20 for nonmembers. Doors open to the public on Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday is ‘Half-Price Day’.
