On October 26, 2013, Friends of Brooker Creek Preserve will sponsor their annual Fall Wildflower Festival at the Preserve. It promises to be a day of outdoor fun and education for the whole family. This is the biggest promotional event for Brooker Creek Preserve each year.
There will be exhibits, presentations, and activities throughout the day, starting at 9:00 AM. Exhibits include a Honeybee Observation Hive and the Exhibit Hall. There will also be a Butterfly Experience in which guests may walk through a tent containing more than 250 butterflies. There they can learn about the life cycle of butterflies and experience them up close.

Wildflowers will be for sale throughout the day and naturalists will be available on the trails to answer questions. There will be a scavenger hunt and fun learning activities for kids. A craft area will be on site as well.
