Friends for Youth, a local bay area mentoring program for at-risk youth, will be hosting their 4th annual holiday fashion show in Palo Alto with Nordstrom on Saturday, December 4, 2010, in efforts to raise money for their organization.

Friends for Youth was founded in 1979 to help at-risk youth, ages 8 to 17, by creating quality mentoring relationships. The organization has helped over 1,750 youths with a 90 percent success rate. Friends for Youth mentors focus on helping youth stay in school by improving school performance and motivation, and has helped keep kids out of the juvenile justice system.

The fashion show will be commentated by Nordstrom's Personal Stylist Director and will feature casual, sporty, elegant and business fashions for all ages from teens to seniors. This festive fun filled event will feature a fabulous silent auction with lots of gift baskets, wrapped, and ready for gift giving and a champagne brunch reception. Nordstrom will also be providing refreshments. The event is open to sisters, mothers, daughters, husbands and friends.

Tickets are $60 per person and reservations may be made online. All proceeds will benefit Friends for Youth.
