Fans of the timeless and beloved television sitcom, "Friends", have something to celebrate with the show's 20th anniversary date approaching.

To honor the one of television's most successful shows, US studio Warner Bros will open Central Perk, which was the coffeehouse that the show's characters frequented often.

Central Perk, a fictitious coffeehouse, was one of the main places where the six friends hung out together and where many scenes were filmed. It was here where Ross (David Schwimmer), Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Chandler (Matthew Perry), Monica (Courtney Cox), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Phoebe's (Lisa Kudrow) lives were intertwined and were they interacted together quite often to discuss the various happenings of their lives.

The pop-up cafe will open in Manhattan in the SoHo district at 199 Lafayette Street and stay open for one month, from September 17 to October 17.

For special effect, Warner Bros says that the coffeehouse's original barista Gunther (James Michael Tyler), who famously crushed on Rachel, will make a few appearances during the month to create an even more realistic experience for the fans heading to the site.

Aniston, Cox and Kudrow announced this latest and very surprising Friends' news on their joint visit to "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

The beloved sitcom first aired on September 22, 1994 and followed the lives of the six characters all of whom went through major life events together. Their main meeting spots were either the two neighboring apartments shared by many of them and, indeed, Central Perk.
