Update 9/3/14: Bailey has been rescued!!

On August 20, a 14-year-old German shepherd mix named "Bailey," was surrendered to a busy, high-intake animal control facility in southern California.

The reasons behind Bailey's former owner's decision to relinquish their senior companion are a mystery - all that is known is that this elderly boy is now in need of a new home where he can rest his paws.

Those who have had the pleasure of meeting Bailey describe him as a "very sweet" dog who is friendly and non-reactive to other dogs who are kenneled at the Baldwin Park animal control facility. Today, Bailey needs a helping hand to find a new guardian. Please take a moment to network this elderly boy's information and help him find a new home.
