On the Feb. 14 episode of "Nancy Grace," a good friend of Jodi Arias' spoke to the host of the show. Communicating via telephone, Bryan Carr discussed why he believes that she killed Travis Alexander in self-defense.
The caller first met Jodi when he visited his sister in jail, who was a victim of domestic violence. He said that she is a "great girl" and that she had never been in trouble with the law before. However, there are countless cold-blooded killers who kept their noses clean until they were arrested for murder.
Nancy Grace asked Bryan Carr why he believes it was self-defense when Travis Alexander was stabbed 27 times, nine of those wounds were in the back. He says that he probably lunged at her and that is when she defended herself, but then she "snapped" and could not stop, which may be where the back wounds came from. He also said that just because he was stabbed in the back does not mean that is where the wounds began.
It seems that this friend of Jodi's could not come up with a good answer because Nancy had to ask him the question four different times. All he kept saying is "domestic violence," "abuse victim" and "she just snapped" to justify her actions. The final time that he was asked the question, he finally said that the only person who can answer that is Jodi Arias. He said,
"I understand that this does not look good on Jodi's part, but to say that she murdered him in cold blood and for me to know Jodi, is ridiculous."
What do you think about Bryan Carr defending the actions of Jodi Arias on "Nancy Grace?"
