Friend of Harry Styles opens up on split with Taylor Swift, Haylor breakup song (Video)

Although fans may have their own guesses as to why Taylor Swift and Harry Styles split, Cambio reported this Friday, Jan. 18, that Will Sweeny, a close friend of the One Direction star, recently opened up on why “Haylor” may have gone their separate ways and a real reason for the breakup. E! Online added this Thursday that the split hasn’t stopped either talented singer from making music, however, as Taylor Swift posted an Instagram photo of her writing a new possible breakup song in the studio while Harry Styles is currently on the 1D world tour.

Will Sweeny feels he know why his One Direction mate broke it off with Taylor Swift, and revealed this week that a major reason behind the “Haylor” breakup was distance and media speculation. According to reports, Harry Styles didn’t know that dating Taylor Swift would be such a huge deal to so many fans, and the pressure was offsetting.

“Harry’s 18 years old, and when you’ve got two of the most famous people in the world [in a relationship], I don’t think either knew what it was going to be like. When they’re both together, it’s insane.”

Sweeny added that Harry Styles and Taylor Swift’s love story may have been so brief because they were a bit “rushed” and went “full on” into the relationship. Distance also may have played a factor in the “Haylor” split.

“When Harry’s with someone, he’s full-on in it … It’s the fact he’s got to be in different places around the world. You only get to see your girlfriend once a month … It’s hard.”

And while Harry Styles was off with his One Direction lads in Tokyo this weekend on their world tour, Taylor Swift took to Instagram to show a new photo of the pop country singer writing her next song, which many fans may believe be a breakup song over her relationship with Harry Styles.
