'Friday Night Lights' characters visiting 'Parenthood' Luncheonette

Fans of the critically acclaimed Friday Night Lights who have not been tuning into Jason Katims' latest program Parenthood, might want to tune into the webisodes that premiere on Thursday, February 13th.

As per NBC, Landry Clarke (Jesse Plemons) and Billy Riggins (Derek Phillips) have not let Crucifictorious die and are heading to The Luncheonette to record some music. They'll cross paths with Amber (Mae Whitman), who is apparently taking care of the studio after hours.

Katims' former series has been well represented on the family drama with guest star appearances in past seasons by Michael B. Jordan and Minka Kelly. Matt Lauria and Jurnee Smollett-Bell recently wrapped up storylines as well. Both have room to return if the story allows, although the storyline with Lauria as Ryan Yorke, a soldier and Amber's ex-fiancé seems particularly unfinished.

The webisodes are to tide fans over while NBC's programming is on hiatus for the Winter Olympics in Sochi. Other shows that will be getting similar treatments are Chicago Fire, Grimm and Parks & Recreation.

You can watch all the webisodes on NBC, Hulu and YouTube.
