There are just a few more Fridays left to enjoy seasonal, farm-fresh cuisine at Wyebrook Farm in Honeybrook this season. Both Wyebrook’s café and the Friday night dinners will shut down at the end of October. For now, visitors may choose from the café’s menu or the three-course meal that changes each week and features seasonally appropriate delicacies. All meat is harvested directly from free–range, grass-fed livestock that reside on the farm.
The three course meal includes a salad/soup, choice of meat or vegetarian entrée, and a dessert for $25. This Friday, October 18th, dinner will feature a roasted onion and garlic cream soup, choice of smoked chicken or sweet potato Wellington with rice pilaf and roasted vegetables, and roasted spiced pear with a caramel sauce and Chantilly. Coffee is available for dessert, and visitors are encouraged to BYOB.
As long as the weather holds, guests are welcomed to outdoor seating with a view of Wyebrook’s rolling hills, meadows, and woodland landscapes; otherwise, diners are treated to seating in the renovated stone barn that also houses Wyebrook’s market. Both pastoral atmospheres offer casual seating at picnic tables. Dinner is available anytime between 4 and 8. Seating is limited, so Wyebrook requests that diners email to reserve a spot at firstname.lastname@example.org.
