Friday Night at Columbia Fashion Week

This week welcomed the third annual Columbia Fashion Week. There has been much anticipation throughout South Carolina's capital city as the weeks drew closer to the event. Happily, tonight's runway show did not disappoint. Set in the beautiful gardens of the Historic Robert Mills House, the atmosphere was full of life and style. Despite the scorching typical South Carolina summer heat, guests seemed to be unfazed as they waved complimentary fans provided by Yelp Columbia, one of the event sponsors, while dressed to the nines.

Tonight's designer lineup included Prima Donna, by Charlene Britt; Ziva Collections by Danielle Davis; Vestique (sponsor); Wish; Sylvia Mollie; and headliner Tsvety Collection. All the designers proved that their fashions were worthy of the runway, featuring one of a kind, skillfully crafted designs that yielded applause from the audience. The audience was quite impressive as well. There were many fashion notables and local celebrities in the crowd, including Bill Evans, Maya Troy, and Arielle Riposta, just to name a few.

The evening ended on a high note as guests browsed and shopped vendors. With the sun finally set, attendees lingered around, mingling, taking selfies, and enjoying the nostalgic ambiance; all of them looking forward to doing it over again tomorrow.
