Fresno Finds - Book Club at Revue in Tower

A new book club has started up in Fresno! It is meeting on Wednesday nights at Revue in Tower at 7pm. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, November 10th at 7pm.

The first book the Book Club will be reading is Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.

B&N Synopsis:

Huxley's vision of the future in his astonishing 1931 novel Brave New World -- a world of tomorrow in which capitalist civilization has been reconstituted through the most efficient scientific and psychological engineering.

The book can also be purchased for less on the nook if you own one of those! Other bookstores and libraries carry copies as well. The Book Club would love to see you grab a copy somewhere, bookstore or library, and come and join them. Currently, they will be meeting every other Wednesday, with the next one being on November 10th at 7pm. The only thing the Revue asks is that you purchase a cup of coffee or something at the counter and then everyone meets in the back room to discuss the current book. They have a variety of tea and coffee drinks along with a variety of food to purchase.

If Brave New World isn't your cup of tea, then come anyway and help the group think of the next book to read for next month. Hope to see you there!

The Revue is located at 620 E Olive Ave, Fresno, CA 93728 and can be contacted at (559) 499-1844 for general questions in regards to the coffee house. If you have questions about the Book Club you may contact your Fresno Books Examiner at for more information and you'll be directed to the main member for updated Book Club information.
