Looking for a healthy place to dine-out in East Orlando? Fresh To Order (f2o), located at 851 North Alafaya Trail in the Waterford Lakes shopping center, should be your next place to visit for healthy dining! Fresh To Order is a new franchise, originating out of Atlanta about eight years ago. Rumor has it that the company plans to open seven more locations in the Orlando area over the next few years. Founder and CEO Piere Panos began franchising his original restaurant in 2011 and, according to their website, now have fourteen locations throughout southeast United States. The chain is considered the pioneer in a new trend in foodservice coined "fast fine." With upgraded levels of service, superior sourcing and ingredients (mostly locally sourced vegetables, as well as grass-fed, pastured, and wild-caught meats) and a full bar, Fresh to Order promises "a new niche which is two steps above fast casual when it comes to the quality or products and services. We are bringing really fresh, really fine, really fast and delicious food to our guests." (Piere Panos, CEO and founder)
The menu includes appetizers, salads, soups, bison burger and bean burgers, locally-sourced pastured chicken dishes, wild-caught seafood, desserts and child's menu and a wine and beer menu as well. Soups and salad dressings are made from scratch, nothing is pre-prepared. They use an open flame grill, cook-to-order style. The menu has a gluten-free section as well as many vegetarian and vegan choices. You can even go to their nutrition page and find out the sodium, fat, calories and carbohydrates of each item on the menu!
You can dine-in at their cozy, contemporary restaurant, or take-out and enjoy your meal at home. The service is halfway between eating at a regular fast food burger joint, and eating at a full-service restaurant, and the decor is very modern and clean. The next time you are looking for a healthy place to dine-out in east Orlando, try Fresh To Order (f2o)!
