CoCo Melvin (CM): This story is about a young woman’s spiritual journey in learning a valuable lesson of faith, life and love.
Has Ashanti yet learned the true value of leaving out various emotions in her relationships? In search for the desires of her heart, Ashanti is blinded by love when she sets her eyes upon a hearing impaired minister who reaps havoc in her life and turns it completely upside down. Will Ashanti become his sixth victim to love, or will she learn to embrace the faith needed to turn her life around to get back on track to finding the true meaning of LOVE? Wait until she meets Anna, Katharina, Crystal, Rosa Lee, and Patresha on, “Love Lane.” What’s L.O.V.E. got to do with it? Everything!
AAHE: How did you pick the topic for L.O.V.E – Leave Out Various Emotions?
CM: Love is a topic that is universal. It’s a language we all speak as humans and have a lot to say about it. Many have experienced it, or would like to experience it. No matter how near or far across the continents we live. It’s a topic that is also discussed regularly, and pretty much everyone has a story to tell about. This is why I took on this complex and controversial undertaking.
AAHE: How is L.O.V.E – Leave Out Various Emotions different from other books that cover the same or similar information?
CM: It’s written as a fictional novel but with realistic teaching applications of lessons that can applied in everyday life situations in relationships, and makes for an interesting topic that can be open for discussions in a group setting with both male & female.
AAHE: What do you like most about being an author?
