Fresh Dill Dip
There's nothing better than a refreshing dip for all of those fresh summer vegetables. This dip is ridiculously easy to make and I'm sure you have all of the ingredients in your refrigerator right now.
This dip is a tradition in our family and we've been making it for probably close to 30 years now. The secret ingredient in this dip is pickle juice. Yes, you read right! It works, trust me. When there were no pickles left in the jar, my mom would save the juice to make the dip for my sister and I. The pickle juice makes the dip tangy and refreshing; I can't imagine this dip without it. My sister and I crave this dip from time to time and no other dip compares to this. I promise this dip won't last 10 minutes at your next summer get-together.

Perfect for veggies, chips... I love the secret ingredient. My grandmother used to make a great salad dressing that was a combination of mayo, ketchup, and sweet (not dill) pickle juice. A variation on Thousand Islands dressing.
This dip is how I got you and your sister to eat raw veggies when you were toddlers. Can we have carrots and dip Mom?
I love that you save the pickle juice! This dip sounds deeeelish! Thanks for sharing your secret!
