Support for the outsourced Strider revival/reboot has been tentative to say the least given Capcom's surprisingly (or not) hands-off approach and the track record of the studio directly handling it, Double Helix. Generally positive feedback on its job handling the Xbox One-exclusive Killer Instinct revival seems to have inspired a bit of confidence, though, which the developer will definitely want to take advantage of as it trickles out more material on its latest project, material like this latest set of screens.

Nothing too out of the ordinary here; Hiryu doing some very Strider-y slashing, leaping, and sliding at a variety of enemies with a next-gen veneer of shiny sterility. The environments are looking a little on the samey side so far, but there's time between now and the simultaneous multiplatform (PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3 and 4 at last count) release in "early 2014" to ensure a little variety.
