As our floral design school offers classes every single week and new students sign up on a regular basis, lessons are always full of fresh atmosphere. New students can start taking lessons at any time they like as far as we have space available. As new students and repeater students enroll constantly, the type of floral designs are kept up with new arrangements constantly. This helps avoid similar pattern of designs repeated and also keep our students away from feeling bored. In the environment where students who took lessons before come back to our school to resume flower lessons, it is so nice and helpful to students who need something new and something fresh.
Among our students there are a few enthusiastic and very diligent ones who ask the instructor to teach her special designs she found in magazines of floral arrangements or wedding decorations. After these students have earned a certain level of floral designing skills, they sometimes proceed to further advanced course. While they follow the regular curriculum, once in a while they show me magazines or pictures introducing designs they would like to make separately from a standard curriculum. Depending on the level of floral design skill and experiences of each student, I make a decision if or not I can comply with their special request.
Only because we are a school of small size, we can work flexibly, which helps comply with special requests from some students on the custom arrangements not covered in the standard curriculum of our school. As far as they learn just for entry level of hobby, they do not stick to such idea. However once they are very enthusiastic and seriously want to acquire the high level of flower arranging skills which MAY enrich the quality of their life, they want to challenge even very time consuming designs which are often very sophisticated and a little bit difficult for students with average level of designing skill.
Some students stick to special flower materials they find in the floral design magazine and ask us to find if it is possible to buy at a flower market. In this kind of situation, we always try to help such diligent and enthusiastic students satisfy their request of taking lessons of custom design arrangements. No matter whether their goal is to run floral decoration business or flower shop, no matter whether they learn flower arrangements just for hobby or not, as far as they would like to go step ahead of competition by making a difference in their designs, they are very diligent and task oriented. We love these types of students because we can always expect positive reactions against the instructions we provide to them.
If you are not satisfied with similar pattern of floral designs and feel tired of routine decorations, or looking for unique and creative designs that are new and exciting, it is a good idea to take lessons from a well experienced instructor or find a floral artist whom you can consult with on the designs you have in your mind.
