So you want to go hiking, but not sure of how or where to take your four legged best friend? Or maybe you just want to get away for the weekend, head to the mountains. Why not try the Georgia Mountains? The trees, the view, the sweet, fresh, mountain air. And while you're there you may want to stay longer. If so you should check out the Hiker Hostel. It's located in the beautiful town in Dahlonega, just off the Appalachian Trail.
The cabin has options for sleeping. The first option is to rent a bunk and the secong is a private room. The prices range from $16-$38 dollars depending on which sleeping option you choose. The cabin has hard wood floors, comfy couches, and a very sceanic backdrop. Amenities include breakfast, laundry, showers, internet, and phones. Although there is a small charge for laundry.
And of course the best part about it is that Fido can stay too, provided he's a well behaved pooch. Also if you want to go somewhere in town where only those who walk on two legs can go the Hiker Hostel can provide you with a crate for them to stay in.
