French Creek man shoots neighbors dogs for trespassing on his property

If there is ever a reason to keep your dogs safely fenced in your own backyard, take heed of Dennis Teed of French Creek, N.Y. who stalked and shot two neighborhood dogs because they trespassed on Teed's Belknap Road property Saturday afternoon.

Teed was charged with aggravated animal cruelty, misdemeanor cruelty to animals, and third degree felony mischief after one dog died and the other dog suffered injuries.

According to the Post-Journal.com, Teed, 44 was arraigned and released on bail.

Want your dog to run 'off leash'? Why not take him to a dog park? No one can guarantee your dog's safety if he is allowed to run free without supervision. Instincts, desires, and other canine temptations can lead your dog down a dangerous path.
