French air traffic controllers unions have announced a strike June 11-13. The French Civil Aviation agency has asked airlines to reduce flights to and from France by 50 percent because of the strike.

There was no mention of the strike on Air France’s US website. The airline’s European websites indicated that long-haul flights would not be affected, but that its medium haul schedule will be updated on Monday 10 June, based on the latest instructions from the French Civil Aviation agency. Air France noted that “delays and last minute cancellations are not excluded.” Air France also announced a revised re-booking policy.

British Airways advised passengers to check status of flights serving France and offered a relaxed re-booking policy.
