The Freeman branch of the Harris County Public Library will be hosting the USA LEGO Robotics Camp each Saturday from February 9 through March 2. The camp is free for children between the ages of 7 and 11. The children get to use the LEGO WeDo program and learn mechanical and science concepts as they build projects using the projects in the program. Multiple volunteers work with the children.
The program is extremely popular, so in order to take part, parents must sign up for a random drawing for slots in the program. The registration is only open through January 26, and parents or caregivers can register at the Freeman Memorial Library’s Kids Information Desk. Children whose names are selected will be informed by email or phone by Friday, February 1.
The Freeman Branch is located at 16616 Diana Lane in Clear Lake.
