Freedom Village tv show goes backstage with the PFunk Allstars

Freedom Village went backstage with the P-Funk Allstars to find out about their side bands and what they do backstage before they go on. The first installment of P-Funk interviews focuses on Michael "Clip" Payne, who has been with the group for over 30 years. Clip discusses his side projects and how the music industry deals with veteran stars. New P-Funk lead singer Steven Boyd joins in the discussion about the Grammys and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The show includes footage from the 420 Funk Mob show at the NYC City Winery in December of 2011. The next show features more backstage interviews with the P-Funk Allstars. Freedom Village is hosted by yours truly and can be seen on Arlington Independent Media's channel in Arlington or at arlingtonmedia.org/live on Thursday at 7:30 pm or Saturday at 10:00 pm.
