Free Workshop for Parents of Teens

LACASA will be offering a free 7 week workshop for parents of 11 -17 year olds called Creating Lasting Creations. This workshop is designed to help parents in areas such as communication, conflict resolutions, and setting positive limits with your teen. It will go over the developmental stages of adolescence and the behaviors of those stages. The workshop will also teach parents on how to identify substance abuse, which many teens face today. Counseling sessions will be available to families and individuals during the 7 weeks of the workshop, and after if requested. .

The workshop starts Tuesday, March 12th and runs through Tuesday, April, 30th from noon-1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
