It’s finally summer! Yes, officially I saw many run, bike and walk the lake front this past weekend in Chicago and more fitness activities are prepped for the upcoming one as well. After my NBC appearance with Dave Zimmer, Owner Fleet Feet Chicago sharing some new products for and tips for runners, I really felt the breeze in my hair while I biked up the middle of Lincoln Park to grab a light lunch and circle the park.
This upcoming weekend is headlined with two more big fitness parties. With Bob Harper heading up Self Magazine Workout in the Park festivities early Saturday morning and Naked Juice Day on Sunday, there is no reason not to get a great workout in this May.

SELF WORKOUT IN THE PARK May 17th
Rain or Shine Butler Field, Grant Park
11am – 3pm (Entrance on corner of East Monroe Street and South Columbus Drive)
Three Stages of Events: Main Stage, Quiet Zone, Reebok Fit Zone
Main Stage headliners: Pound rockout Workout at noon and Bob Harper’s Body Blast at 2:30pm
