Free weekend family fun: LEGO Games tour at Denver Pavilions

The colorful plastic bricks and minifigures manufactured by LEGO have been treasured toys for generations, competing with the (delicious) Danish pastry for Denmark's most visible contribution to everyday American culture. The company has come a long way since its humble beginnings, expanding the empire to include everything from theme parks to robotics to the upcoming LEGO Universe massively multilayer online game.

On August 20-August 22, downtown Denver hosts a mobile tour of yet another LEGO product division: board games. The free event at Denver Pavilions will allow visitors to experience life-sized adapted versions of LEGO board games and compete for prizes in ongoing stage competition.

The Lego Games Mobile Tour takes place Friday, August 20th 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21st 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 22nd 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more info, visit the LEGO Games website.
