What could be better than a dreamy destination wedding in the Caribbean? What about receiving that dreamy destination wedding for free? Nisbet Plantation Beach Club, the Caribbean’s only historic plantation inn on the beach, is giving couples a gift of a free wedding in 2014.

Imagine your wedding under Nisbet Plantation's Avenue of Palms.
Nisbet Plantation Beach Club

Couples who stay at the award-winning Nevis resort for seven nights or more will receive a free wedding ceremony package (a $1,650 value), which includes:

• License, registration and Minister's fee

• Transportation to and from the authorities, as necessary

• Choice of wedding location:

– White sand beach overlooking the Caribbean Sea with views of St. Kitts,

– Avenue of the Palms, an expansive lawn lined with coconut palm trees leading to the sea, or

– A romantic backdrop of the couple’s choice

• Bridal bouquet and boutonniere

• Fresh flowers from the garden for decoration

• Two-tiered wedding cake

• Chilled bottle of champagne for wedding toast

• Services of our professional wedding coordinator

• Private celebration after the ceremony, either in-room champagne breakfast or a romantic candlelit dinner on the beach

In addition, in honor of the nuptials, Nisbet Plantation will plant a coconut palm tree in the couple’s name. The couple can return to watch the tree grow just as their love for one another grows with time.

At the intimate, 36-room Nisbet Plantation, guests are greeted by name and receive attentive personal service by the resort’s long-term staff. To maintain a high level of service, only one wedding per day is hosted at the resort.

The on-site wedding coordinator will assist the couple every step of the way to create the wedding of their dreams. Additional services are available to enhance the free wedding package, including photographer, musicians, videographers and more.

While the resort’s wedding coordinator handles all of the details, the couple can relax pre- and post- wedding in the oceanfront pool and hot tub, in a hammock on the beach, with a couple’s treatment in the spa, snorkeling or kayaking over offshore coral reefs, dining by candlelight in the Great House, and strolling hand-in-hand under the stars along the Avenue of Palms.

On Nevis, there is much to see and do. Couples can take a picnic to Lover’s Beach, hike through rainforests to spot green vervet monkeys, bike around the 36-square-mile island, scuba dive and more.

To receive the Free Wedding Package, couples must stay in a Deluxe Garden Junior Suite, Lower Premier Junior Suite or Upper Premier Junior Suite. It is not combinable with other specials or promotions. Daily rates for those room categories begin at $541 per couple and include full-service breakfast, afternoon tea and nightly gourmet dinner.

For reservations, call toll-free at 1-800-742-6008 or speak to a travel agent.

Note: As one who has stayed at Nisbet Plantation Beach Club and enjoyed the amenities on the resort grounds, as well as taken in the sights and enjoyed multiple trips to Nevis, I can personally recommend this destination. If I were planning an island destination wedding in the Caribbean, I could think of no better place to say "I do" than at Nisbet.
