There are still pre-orders available for the Kindle Fire HD, according to a Nov. 11 report from Hawt Wired. Both the the Kindle Fire 2 HD 8.9" WIFI and the same 4G LTE models are currently available for pre-order at Amazon, and they are expected to ship the week of Dec. 3, 2012, so they should arrive in plenty of time for holiday gift giving.
