Seattle Theatre Group offers free tours of the historic Paramount and Moore Theatres in Seattle. Learn about these theatres while getting a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes.
Free tours of the Paramount Theatre are on the first Saturday of each month. Tour goers are asked to meet at the front entrance of the theatre, located on the corner of 9th & Pine, by 10 am. Tours last approximately 90 minutes.
The Paramount Theatre underwent a $20 million dollar renovation in 1995, which has brought it back to it's original splendor of 1928. The unique convertible floor system was built in Italy, and is the only one of it's size in the world. Over 3 million crystal beads adorn 218 chandeliers and light fixtures throughout the theatre.

The Moore Theatre was built in 1907 and is the oldest operating theatre in the region. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, the theatre continues to be a popular venue for entertainment groups and community events.
