FREE Straw for Genesse County Animals, that's right Free!

Once again volunteers have come through to help provide free straw for those that need help with keeping their pets warm this winter. The last few months of winter have been brutal not just to us humans, but the animals living outside are having an extremely hard time as well.

Take advantage of the Free Straw by bringing a large bag down to the Genesee County Animal Control Shelter located at 4351 W. Pasadena Avenue, Flint, MI 48504, to receive your straw. If you do not need the straw for your pet, but know of a neighbor that may please be kind and help them out. Grab a bag and head on down to gather some warmth for your neighbors pet as well.

Straw will be available until they run out. While you're there check out the many pets that are available for adoption. Shelter hours tonight are from 10a.m - 6:45p.m.
