Two opportunities for free spaying and neutering of dogs and cats will be available on January 17, 2013.
The first is the Free Spay Day for valley pets is being offered by Arizona Humane Society's "Circle of Friends."
Check-in begins at 6:00 am at the AHS Sunnyslope Public Clinic located at 1311 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix, Arizona. Since space is limited, services will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please be sure to read the pre-surgery instructions prior to arrival.
AHS Circle of Friends is a special group of donors whose contributions of $1,000 or more go specifically towards AHS’ low- and no-cost spay and neuter efforts in valley shelters and throughout the community. Because of the generosity of our Circle of Friends, the Arizona Humane Society is able to provide animals in their care the opportunity for a healthy future in a happy home while also reducing pet overpopulation in the community.

A second opportunity for free spay and neuter is being offered by Empty Bowl Pet Food Pantry in Mesa, Arizona. Empty Bowl Pet Food Pantry helps pet owners facing financial challenges keep the promise they made to their pets to love and care for them forever. We distribute free pet food, respond to disasters, conduct spay/neuter clinics and raise awareness through inspiration and teaching of humane treatment of animals in the community.
