That’s what 7-Eleven is dong in Los Angeles this Friday, July 9, from 7 to 10 p.m. 7-Eleven fans following @7elevensocal on Twitter.com will be directed to local Summer Slurpee Stops where free 7.11-ounce Slurpee® drinks will be given away from the Summer Slurpee Truck. Festivities start at Hollywood Boulevard and Taft Avenue.
Celebrate with Hot Foods samples, games and coupons for full-size Slurpee® drinks at a campus-area 7-Eleven store – the first in the nation to be open 24-hours a day.
“Share the Slurpee” with fans in Walpole on 395 High Plain Street Friday, July 9. The 7-Eleven New England Facebook fan page says the early 7-Eleven day celebration will feature a face painter, DJ, and 7-Eleven giveaways, including a $200 7-Eleven gift card. The store will sell full-size Slurpee® drinks for seven cents and delicious Big Bite® hot dogs for 11 cents.
Find the Slurpee® on 7-Eleven Day and win! 7-Eleven Street Team members will be walking and driving the streets of Chicago its suburbs with a “golden Slurpee,” and checking into foursquare at 7-Eleven stores along the way. People who find the street team members will receive coupons for free Big Gulp® beverages, taquitos and pizza.
Battle of the Bands (nationwide)
7-Eleven also is using its birthday to kick off the second annual Slurpee® Battle of the Bands. Starting Sunday, three of the 12 homegrown musical groups will showcase their talents and compete for semi-finalist status at the first of four regional concerts.
