Free seminar discusses how to treat water in an emergency

Water is vital for life. In an emergency though, do you have enough water stored? Do you know how to treat water so you can drink it safely? Emergency water expert Glenn Meder and the American Preppers Network will present a free webinar Thursday on how to properly treat water.

The seminar, titled “Understanding Red Cross Recommendations for Treating Water During an Emergency,” will cover how to properly purify and store water, key things to know to keep safe, understand the American Red Cross recommendations for treating water, and what to do and not do in a water emergency. It will last one hour.

Meder has been in the water purification business for over 20 years. He also invented the Survival Still emergency water distiller.
