French film fan? Theatre Raymond Kabbaz continues A Week of French Language Cinema with its second free screening on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 7:30 p.m at 10361 W. Pico Boulevard. This time, a Canadian film, Louis Cyr : L’Homme le plus fort du monde by Daniel Roby, is featured. Although it is in French, there are English subtitles. Email rsvp.trk@lyceela.org to request comp tickets now. Specify the name of the film and the number of tickets you would like.

Louis Cyr is a gripping biography about the strongest man in the world, starring Antoine Bertrand, who is also known for playing the title role in Starbuck. An amazing Canadian, Louis Cyr made history with his extraordinary feats of pushing a freight car up an incline and lifting over 500 pounds with a finger.
