Saugerties Pro Musica is proud to present six top soloists from the West Point Band in concert Sunday, February 17, at 3 p.m. Musicians SSG Yalin Chi, SSG Matthew B. Smith, SFC William Calohan IV, SSG Stacy Wilson, SSG Phil Helm and SFC Mike Reifenberg will be performing the program "History of the Virtuoso". It includes works by Chopin, Beethoven and Eccles, with a boogie study and a Charlie Parker medley completing a well-rounded musical afternoon.
Please join us for this annual free concert. As usual, there will be a punch and cookie reception afterwards to meet the musicians.
FUTURE SPRING 2013 CONCERTS
- The Spanish cello & guitar duo, Maruri & Jones, ($12) is a new addition to our world-class spring lineup on March 10th, 2013
- Colorado String Quartet ($12) returns for the third time on March 24, 2013
- Merling Trio (piano, violin, cello) ($12) makes their first appearance on our stage on April 28, 2013.
- Catskill Glee Club returns to close our season in their annual free concert on May 5, 2013.
