Local food makers will be showcasing their wares today, Wednesday, December 8, at the Local Foods Holiday Gift Fair. The free fair will be held at the Austin City Hall Atrium and Plaza from 4-8 p.m.
The event is hosted by Better Bites of Austin, which is a trade association for local artisans of all-natural foods and beverages. More than two dozen local food makers are participating in the fair, offering samples of their products and items for sale. Attendees can enjoy the samples, buy products, bid on pre-made baskets and enjoy live music by Bel Cuore Quartet.
The Austin City Hall is located at 301 W. 2nd St., and admission is free.
