Free sailing seminar for new sailors this Saturday on the Bay.

This Saturday, March, 16th, 2013, there will be a free sailing seminar held on the West River, South of Annapolis, MD, which is geared towards new sailors, and people looking to check out sailing, but don't know how to go about it.

The following is a post from Spinsheet.com concerning the seminar.

"Do you have friends, coworkers, or neighbors who tell you about how they would like to get into sailing one day? Please tell them about the free sailing seminar at the West River Sailing Club on Saturday, March 16 from 1-4 p.m.

The afternoon will start off with a panel discussion with experienced racing and cruising sailors moderated by Molly Winans, SpinSheet and Start Sailing Now editor. Then attendees may wander around to mini-seminars and learn a bit about how to get into racing or relaxed daysailing, how the wind works, and what to wear. In case you’re wondering, the seminar will be held inside, so just come as yourself and don’t worry about getting wet (yet)!!

Parking on site is free. Lunch will be available for purchase at noon. Programs starts at 1 p.m. All are welcome, including novices!

To learn more, contact Peter Duncan."
